Jacob arrives at the UF Proton Therapy Institute
All organised, Jacob’s mask has been made and everything else is ready to start treatment. It was very scary for Jacob, again the ‘unknown’ – to put Jacob’s mind at rest they have taken him around the treatment rooms so he can familiarise himself with his surroundings.

The healing process continues

Jacob post operation
The surgery over, the biopsy was sent off for more investigation, we would now have to wait a week to find out what tumour Jacob has. The rest of the tumour is too dangerous to remove due to the location in Jacob’s brain. (September 2014)
